About ELITE CARE

A small apothecary devoted to topical body care done well.

ELITE CARE is a small workshop in the Pacific Northwest making slow-pressed body oils, whipped balms, hand-poured candles and bath rituals from real ingredients you can read aloud. We started because we kept reaching for products with shorter and shorter ingredient lists, and finding very few that met the bar.

How we work

Every object on this site is hand-blended in small batches, decanted into amber glass or kraft pouches, and labelled the same week it ships. We do not stockpile inventory. The candle you receive was poured by a person, not a line.

Our materials

Cold-pressed sweet almond. First-press olive oil. Hand-tinctured frankincense and myrrh. Stone-ground shea butter. American soy wax with a cotton wick. Atlantic sea salt and magnesium flakes. We use the simple things and we use them well. Every product on this site is for topical use only — body, bath and home fragrance — never ingested.

Why amber glass

The botanicals we work with are sensitive to light. Amber glass protects the actives, looks beautiful on a bathroom counter, and is endlessly recyclable. We do not use plastic primary packaging. Shipping cartons are recycled and recyclable.
